Lake Ontario & Oshawa Creek -- October 21st, 2012
I was on an outing with the local Field Naturalists club today to see what mid-autumn had to offer.

Discovering the world...
High-bush Cranberry berries. Birds aren't too keen on these. They become a meal of last choice later in the season.
It's fungi time... October is their month.
Lots of golden ones today.
Crack Willow with one of its trunks severely infected with parasites.
Fall is changing the landscape quickly.
